Introduction
Monsters and Critics is always looking for new contributors to make the site a better place to visit.

Get involved today in one of the most rapidly expanding news and entertainment sites on the web.

Most of the posts, except where noted, are of a voluntary nature for the moment. Though possible benefits include slush and access to material prior to publication or release. Plus if you are looking to break into the journalism industry your work on the site will be useful experience for the future. Note that all the staff on the site started as volunteers.

You must be over 18 years of age.

Technology Reporter

Required for our sister site The Tech Herald.

Entails writing daily news stories covering a wide variety of technology related topics (Internet, business, software, hardware, etc).

You should be able to write succinct, accurate and engaging copy in an efficient manner.

Additionally you should be passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. If you are only interested in a specific topic please let us know.

This is initially an unpaid position but we expect that to change after a trial period.

Reviewers

There will also be various review openings on The Herald, not immediate but feel free to register you interest with an application as per the reporter position. Both software and hardware.

Arts Editor/Reporter

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to head up the Arts section on Monsters and Critics.

Ideally you would be based in New York or London.

Entails reviewing events/shows and writing daily news stories covering the likes of Broadway, West End, exhibitions, auctions and other event within the art world.

The post is unpaid but expenses can be covered and access to press events is usually forthcoming.

Please include three samples of your writing, together with a bit about yourself and your work. Samples can be URLs or attachments.

Fashion and Auto Reporters

We are looking to expand our Fashion and Auto sections beyond the limited coverage we currently publish.

You should be able to write succinct, accurate and engaging copy in an efficient manner.

Additionally you should be passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. 

These are initially unpaid positions. Again this is the usual path to working for site as a paid staffer.
